Nail Polish Collection

While I was growing up, my mom had a makeup bag under her bathroom sink, full of bottles of nail polish. They were all shades of red, pink, and neutral, and perhaps this is why nail polish never really caught my attention. I don’t know if other colors were largely available (other than black), and being a professional working in an office certainly limited what colors my mom could choose. It wasn’t until my early 30s that I noticed nail polish came in a variety of gorgeous colors. I walked past a drugstore display that had a rainbow of Spoiled (brand) polish. I’m a sucker for color, so rainbows always grab my attention. I decided to buy a few bottles, and quickly realized this would accelerate quickly. My collection grew from a dozen bottles to 20, and then to 40, within a couple of months. I now have over 300 bottles of polish (if you include duplicate colors), and no regrets!

Collection as of February 8, 2017 (needs updating!)
