CHARACTER INFO

I've come up with a really elaborate backstory for Lady Peafowl, I'm just not sure how much of it to put in her bio. She's the great-(great-great-great and so on for some generations)-aunt of Luna Crow and Solar Raven. She was born to the peerage in England some time in the 16- or 1700's, betrothed at birth to a Marquess or perhaps a Duke, and grew up always doing exactly what was expected of her. Her parents died when she was around 12, and so her betrothed then married her at that young age (he was at least a few decades her senior), and proceeded to raise her. It was obviously a very interesting relationship, but they loved each other as husband and wife for many years. She always had mutant powers, but she kept them secret (as was proper for the time) from everyone except her husband. She learned every detail of running the estate, even lowering herself to do every task at least once (including washing dishes!) so that she could better manage the household. The couple never produced an heir; some say it was because The Lady was "different" (referring to her mostly-secret mutant status), some say it was because her husband couldn't look on her as anything other than a daughter (since he did help to raise her). Neither of these is true, but Lady Peafowl allowed people to come to their own conclusions, and will take the truth to her grave. One night she was whisked away to The Future (our present day). Her husband mounted a frantic search, and refused to admit that she might not come back. Upon his death and without an heir, his estate was returned to the King, however he set up a trust in Lady Peafowl's name so that if she ever came back she would be well cared-for. This trust was waiting for her in our time, and she is now very comfortable, albiet heartbroken over losing her beloved husband. She's a little snobby towards the lower-class (as anyone in her situation would have been raised to be), but she's acclimating to her new surroundings.
